Our framework
Core Capabilities
Every child is trained toward six crucial capabilities for an AI-shaped future – the reasoning, adaptability and self-understanding no exam currently measures – developed through TrueNorth’s own proprietary framework.
Each one is defined from published research.
One aim:
children who think for themselves.
TrueNorth finds where each child is and how they think, then develops all six capabilities through an individual learning path – with particular focus on the skills current schooling does not reach.
Where school stops short
Curricula still reward recalling knowledge, at a time when knowledge is abundant and searchable. TrueNorth works on the thinking that stays human.
Ready to partner with AI
Children will work alongside AI tools that don’t yet exist. Critical thinking lets them question those tools, direct them and judge for themselves.
The long view
TrueNorth runs alongside school today. Over years, the evidence it gathers builds a real understanding of how a young person thinks, works and responds when things get hard. Our ambition is for that understanding to travel with them – into the move from education to work, and the choices about career and purpose that follow.
